Terms of Service
Read the UstadPK Terms of Service governing use of our platform by customers and service professionals.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UstadPK (the "Platform"), operated in Pakistan. By creating an account, browsing listings, or contacting a professional through UstadPK, you agree to these Terms.
1. What UstadPK Is
UstadPK is a directory and discovery platform that allows service professionals ("Ustads") to create public profiles, and allows customers to find and contact them directly. UstadPK is not a party to any agreement, job, or payment between a customer and an Ustad, and does not employ, supervise, or guarantee the work of any professional listed on the Platform.
2. Account Registration
To create an Ustad profile you must provide accurate information, including a valid phone number, which you must verify via an SMS code during signup. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. Verified Badge
The Verified badge indicates that an Ustad has verified ownership of their phone number via SMS code. It is not a guarantee of the quality, safety, or outcome of any work performed, and UstadPK is not liable for disputes arising from services arranged through the Platform.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not post false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information.
- Do not use the Platform to harass, scam, or solicit unrelated services from other users.
- Do not attempt to circumvent our verification or moderation systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or harmful to other users.
5. Payments
Any payment for services is arranged directly between the customer and the Ustad. UstadPK does not currently process payments on behalf of users and recommends agreeing on pricing and payment terms before work begins.
6. Limitation of Liability
UstadPK is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UstadPK is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from interactions, services, or transactions between customers and professionals arranged through the Platform.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
